How to get FREE Makeup! (Mac, Lush, Sabon, Kiehl's, and more!) from The Gossip Darling

Hello beauties!!

Hope you're all having a great week so far. As a beauty addict, I love getting free stuff! I don't care if it's a beauty sample, free service, or even free info. If it's for free...it's for me! As a beauty junkie, I've learned a few tricks. I'm going to share my secret....some beauty companies offer perks or free stuff when you recycle your beauty products! That's right. Finish your goodies, turn in the empty containers, and you get a reward! Here are some beauty companies who offer recycling programs.

MAC Cosmetics: I am a HUGE MAC fan and I have been since I was a teenager. For my senior prom, a MAC makeup artist did my makeup and I have been obsessed every since. Their eye shadows and lipsticks are the absolute best and super pigmented. Nobody does it better. What makes them even better? Save 6 empty containers and you get a free lipstick when you return the empty containers to a MAC counter. Yes, that's right....FREE lipstick!! And it's free because you are doing something good for the environment and getting something back for money you've already spent. Their lipsticks range from $17 to $20 so it's a fantastic perk! Thanks MAC for being so awesome!! Check out additional deets here.

Lush: I'm a total newbie to this brand. About two weeks ago, my Mom and I went into a store for the first time and every single salesperson in the store was super friendly and helpful. (It's hard finding amazing customer service like this!) My salesperson explained products in great detail to me, let me try some products, and offered free samples. My Mom and I were totally eating everything up! We purchased about 4 items and I'll definitely be back there soon. Their products are handmade and on every container it tells you who made it and when it was made. How cool is that? Since Lush is super environmentally conscious, hand in 5 empty black pots and they'll give you a Fresh Face Mask for FREE! Woooo hoooo! Yes please!! You're saving about $7.95. Please count me in. Click here for more details.

Sabon: This is another brand I've been using for many years. My Mom and I are obsessed with their scrubs. They are amazing!! I've been to many of their stores over the years and everyone's super nice and they love to demonstrate their products as well. I love trying their goodies! Here's their deal...bring in an empty jar, bottle, or container and receive 10% off the same product you just returned. So I have the containers of the scrubs I love so much and when they are empty, I return them to the store and buy a new scrub for 10% off. Love it! Win win! Read more about it here.

Origins: I'm a total stalker of this brand. I have tried soooo many of their products and I am so pleased. They are clean, fresh, and feel good on your skin. I've purchased everything from makeup, body lotion, skincare, and gum! Yes, I've tried it all. Origins now offers an awesome rewards program. For every $1 you spend, you get 10 points! There's 3 levels of the program: silver, gold, and green. The higher your rewards level, the more benefits and perks available to you. You also earn 25 points for recycling empty cosmetic containers! I love being green. What are some of the rewards?Deluxe samples, masks, mini facial brush, full size products, and cosmetic bag. Click here to learn more.

Kiehl's: I started using this brand as a teenager. I've gotten so many people hooked on their stuff. The company was founded in 1851 and has a huge fan base. These people know what they're doing. I also love how they reward their customers if they bring empty bottles back. For every full-size empty bottle you hand in, you get a stamp. After 10 stamps, you get a FREE travel collection product. Yay! Who doesn't love that? Here are the deets.

I love when brands are awesome and give back to their customers. Have you tried these brands? Do you recycle? Tell us all about it in the comments below!

Thanks so much for reading!

  4. Thanks for this post, I had no idea about some of these programs! It takes me forever to finish products though, I think I'd just end up buying more and forgetting to take jars in.
