IPKN Flash Cream Radiant Primer Review
Happy Saturday darlings!!
Hope you're all having a great weekend so far. This weekend is 3 days for me and I am soooo happy! You know what also makes me really happy? When I find a new beauty product I'm loving! Here's a little background...
Last month I finally signed up for Birchbox. It's a monthly beauty subscription with some awesome samples getting shipped directly to your home. If you're a beauty addict like me, trying new products can get awfully pricey because many times you are forced to buy the full size product. With Birchbox, you complete your profile which includes info about your skin type, hair type, beauty preference, and other fun questions, and they send personalized samples to you for $10 per month. Every sample in your box is a surprise but they send you loads of info about each product and you have the option to purchase the full sized product from their e-commerce shop. For me this is convenient because for $10, I get to try 5 new beauty products and my wallet isn't left severely damaged.
Last month, I was sent a sample of IPKN Flash Cream Radiant Primer and I am totally loving it. Over the years, I've used many different primers. One of my favorites is Too Faced's Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer. I've gone through soooo many tubes of this stuff. But of course, sometimes you want to change it up. (And hopefully you find something that you like and it's a bit cheaper!) IPKN Flash Cream Radiant Primer is about the same price but it's worth the $28.
I've used up the entire sample but over the last month, this primer has helped my foundation go on smoother, my makeup lasts longer on my skin (I work 16 hour days), makes my pores look smaller, and helps protect my skin from the sun because it's SPF 15. It has a clean light smell that isn't overpowering, feels very light on your skin, has a little pearl shimmer to it so my skin looks more illuminating, it's creamy and your skin will feel moisturized. Just as a heads up, the consistency feels more like a lotion but it will completely soak into your skin. I don't think this product will do well for those with oily skin, but anyone with dry to combo skin should give it a try!
Have you ever used this primer? What are some of your other favorites? Please tell me in the comments below!
Enjoy your weekend beauties!
