Beauty Goodies Used Up in July
OMG, time seriously needs to slow down. This is insane. Pretty soon it's going to be Christmas! Anyway as we say goodbye to yet another month, here are the beauty goodies I used up in July!
Simple Cleansing Micellar Water: I got this product in a free beauty gift bag from an event I attended. I have always been a toner girl but the micellar water has changed my life. This particular water was good but not great in my opinion. It was super light and literally just felt like I was applying pure water to my face. It cleaned my face well, had no strong smell, and didn't leave any residue after application. It's designed for all skin types but perfect for those with sensitive skin. Here's how it works...apply a good amount of a cotton pad, wipe the cotton pad around your face gently (no rubbing!), and even wipes away your eye makeup. Super easy! Would I purchase this product again? Probably not because I love my Garnier's Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Water way more (review coming soon!) and rather buy that over this product. But if I got the product for free again or heavily discounted, then I'm in.
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner: This was my first time using anything by this brand and I was pleasantly surprised. I purchased this liner because my normal Stila liner was sold out at Sephora and the salesgirl said this was the next best thing. I couldn't agree more. It's super easy to apply, way easy to use with it's thin tip, and doesn't dry out at all. I have had this liner for about a year now (I didn't use everyday) and it is still moist and not one bit dried out. I think it's a fab liner that never transferred to upper lids even after a crazy workout. Would I purchase this gem again? Yes. I am currently using my Stila liner again but I would purchase this again if something happened to my Stila. PS- the packaging and design is amazing and so detailed. Love it.
IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm: I love love love this makeup removing balm and it's one of the best I've used. It's strong and removes even waterproof makeup but super moisturizing and gentle on the skin. After application and removal, my face never felt irritated and was always left soft and smooth. I can't rave enough about it and I will definitely repurchase in the future. I am a huge fan of this brand! Please read full review here.
Thayers' Witch Hazel Rose Petal Toner: This toner is one of my favorites! It's alcohol free and smells like roses! It's just so nice! You apply all over your face with a cotton pad and it leaves your skin feeling soft, refreshed, and moisturized. You can use this product as many times a day as you want! Yes, it's that gentle! I also love how natural this toner is. It's alcohol free, paraben-free, gluten-free and made with un-distilled witch hazel and rose water. I can't gush enough about this toner. It tightens pores, moisturizes, cleanses, and softens your skin. It's pretty much...perfect. Please read the full review here.
What products have you been loving or used up this month? It's so funny because as I was applying my makeup this morning, I realized that I have only 1/4 left of so many of my beauty goodies. Next month's used up goodies is going to be a long one!
Have a great week loves.
