Another Blogging Mistake

6:30:00 AM

Oops I did it again. Hopefully I'm not alone with my new to constantly change by blog design. I'm not sure what it is but it seems like I want to revamp this space every 3 to 4 months. The problem is...it's getting super pricey. Since I started this blog, I've always known that I want Aubrey Kinch to design my blog and do all of branding for this little baby of mine. There are two problems though: it costs money and I don't know what look I want. How am I supposed to know "my brand" when I just started a new venture. So I keep buying cheaper pre-made templates and paying for someone to install. Well this has just been a disaster on my part. I just installed a new template this week and I'm not happy with it at all. So this is what I've learned this week...

1. If you want to do something right, hire a professional. Even though my last template with Pipdig was amazing and the customer service was phenomenal, this isn't always the case. Search for reviews and if you find some, hopefully they are positive. Just because you're purchasing a pre-made template, that doesn't mean the developer isn't professional. If you're paying any price for something, you should receive quality service.

2. Do your research. Has this person received good reviews. Do your styles/visions match? If the designer loves gothic and you love shabby chic, not sure if you guys are going to have a productive partnership. You totally can have a great creative blend, but I'm not willing to spend my money and waiting to see. I have been following Aubrey Kinch's blog and social media for years. Our styles totally see eye to eye.

3. Every penny counts. Sooo this is what makes me most upset. I've spent so much money purchasing templates and tweaking here and there...I should have just hired Aubrey to begin with. Every penny starts to add up. I could have had a beautiful blog up and running and so much less stress.

4. I'm saving up and not making one change...until I do it right at last. It's like saving up for your dream Chanel bag, you're not going to be happy with your 10 Michael Kors bags until you really get the bag you want.

As always, thanks for listening to my rants and ramblings. Much love.

xoxo

Sigma's 30% Off Sale

9:54:00 AM

Hi darlings!! Sorry for the double post today but this is important! Sigma is having a huge sale... 30% off!! I'm so excited. I only own two Sigma products but I'm absolutely obsessed with both. (I have this cleaning glove and this foundation brush)

During the sales, I'm picking up these four things….

Sigma's 30% Off Sale

Sigma Spa Express Brush Cleaning Mat: I'm obsessive about cleaning my makeup brushes. I currently have the glove and use it every Sunday but I'm looking for something to travel with. Since my skin is acne prone, I need to keep bacteria and germs away from my skin. It's important to clean your brushes!!

E25 Blending Brush: I love eyeshadow and I own so many palettes. Even though I own so many eyeshadow brushes, I don't have a brush that I solely use to blend!

F05 Small Contour Brush: I love both highlighting and contouring. Yes, I am Kim K! I use my Chanel bronzer so let's see how these two get along.

F35 Tapered Highlighter Brush: I wear highlighter every single day. I have my Sephora brush but I can always use a backup. I'm slowly trying to buy seconds of every brush because I travel to my parents' house Upstate so much and I'm tired of carrying so many things with me.

F80 Flat Kabuki Brush: This is hands down my favorite way to apply my foundation. This brush is excellent quality and provides truly amazing application. Since I started using it, I can't tell you how many compliments I've received about my makeup. Flawless. I'm getting it in the rose gold color this time instead of the silver. I wanna be a little different. Read full review here

Are you buying anything??

My First Trip to Primark

1:00:00 PM

My First Trip to Primark

Omg omg omg!! New FAVE store alert!! For all my lovely UK readers, this probably isn't a big deal but for us American shoppers, I think it's huge! I've heard of Primark from social media but living here in NYC, I've never visited one. I am a huge fan of UK-based train stores. In my opinion, bring us more Topshop and come on over Selfridges and Marks & Spencer!! We want to see you!

So a little over a week ago, my Mom and I were shopping and we were surprised that a new store opened...Primark. It was a first time for both of us so we had no expectations. Well as it turns out, we are both in love. To be honest, my Mom is more obsessed than me by a hair. Lol. She keeps going on and on about this black felt-like hangers! We are going again this upcoming weekend to pick up some more things.

Overall the prices are super amazing and better than Forever 21 and H&M. (In my opinion those two stores are getting a little too expensive!) I found so many cute things and I purchased most of them and still managed to spent just a little over $100. I even bought a new pink iPhone charger! Here are some of the items I picked up…

These were only a few of my purchases. I can't wait to see what I pick up during my next visit!

The Anti-Aging Ingredients You Need to Know

11:35:00 AM

Every time you turn on your TV, there is an ad for the newest discovered Fountain of Youth. These allegedly miraculous products promise to eliminate even the tiniest wrinkles, and lift every sagging bit of your face. But can you trust these claims? Skin care experts agree that anti-aging products are all about ingredients. So, the only way to be sure that they are effective is to scan the labels for those ingredients that are actually proven to preserve the natural beauty and youth.
Here is our A-list of confirmed anti-aging ingredients.

Vitamin C
Vitamin C is used in anti-aging products in many forms. Ascorbic acid is the purest and most common one, but there are also magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, L-ascorbic acid, ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, etc. Vitamin C has so many benefits for the skin that one does not know where to start to list them. It promotes the production of collagen, a protein responsible for keeping your skin firm, plump, and youthful. It also reduces skin discolorations, and eliminates the dark spots, thus restoring your glowing complexion.

Opt for products that contain kiwifruit, such as Double Serum from Clarins Australia, since kiwifruit is jam-packed with this vitamin, which makes them a safe choice.

Niacinamide
When applied topically, the active component of vitamin B3 can increase the level of ceramides (the ‘glue’ that holds your skin cells together) and fatty acids (the cell-communicating ingredients), and stimulate the microcirculation in your skin. In this way, niacinamide improves the skin’s barrier and its overall appearance. It has also gained reputation for being able to reverse the signs of sun damage, most of all the pigmentation issues.

Salicylic Acid
The word ‘acid’ is commonly associated with something abrasive and harsh, but salicylic acid is neither of the two. This ingredient helps you remove the outer layer of built-up dead skin cells, and allows the new, young cells to come to the surface, thus diminishing the fine lines and wrinkles, and smoothing your face. Salicylic acid is extremely helpful for people who are experiencing aging and blemishes at the same time.

People with oily and acne-prone skin tend to use more aggressive products in order to get rid of the excess oil. But they only dry out the skin, causing more breakouts, and accelerating the aging process. Salicylic acid also eliminates the impurities from the clogged pores but, unlike many other exfoliators, it does not deprive your skin of moisture. For best results, look for products with 1% to 2% salicylic acid.

Titanium Dioxide
Sunscreens are used to prevent sunburn and decrease the risk of skin cancer. But they are also an inevitable factor in the fight against premature aging caused by sun damage. Titanium dioxide is a common active ingredient in sunscreens. It is a broad-spectrum ingredient, meaning that it protects the skin from both UVA and UVB radiation.

It is very gentle on the skin, which makes it an excellent sunscreen even for sensitive skin. You can apply it around the eyes, too, since there is no risk of it causing irritation and stinging.

Retinol
Retinol does not require too much introduction, since it is a sort of a celebrity among the anti-aging skin care ingredients. But one fact about this derivative of vitamin A that is less known is that, while the majority of other anti-aging ingredients serve to prevent the aging process, retinol can actually rejuvenate the skin after the damage has already been done. This makes retinol your best bet against stubborn wrinkles and sagging face (if we exclude the invasive and painful surgical procedures).

Hanging out in Central Park: GOMO with Eventbrite

11:06:00 AM

Hello loves!! I am sooo excited that the weekend is almost here! Wooo hooo! Hope you all have some fun plans!

I have always said that I wish I could travel more and have more life experiences. When I was 19 years old, I backpacked through Europe with some of my college friends and it was the best experience of my life. I promised myself that I would disconnect from the world for a few weeks every year, save my money, and explore. Well of course as I graduated college, took a corporate job, and moved to NYC…this totally didn't happen. My days are spent in the office, at the gym, and heading back to my apartment. I am glued to my iPhone and iPad and feel 100% panicked with they are out of my reach. I once lost my iPhone for about 3 minutes and I almost started to cry. Trust me, I am not proud of this. My FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) is in full effect and it really does become draining and exhausting.

Saks 5th Ave Store
St. Patrick's Cathedral

Eventbrite has created a wonderful campaign to end FOMO and start GOMO (Going Out More Often). I absolutely love the idea behind this!! So in the spirit of dropping my gadgets and start enjoying life more, I decided to start small. I live in NYC which is one of the best cities in the world. Every single day for the last 7 years, I see people travel from all parts of the world in order to explore this wonderful city and yet I just run to and from a subway? Instead of worrying about going someplace exotic, I am exploring my own adopted hometown!
The Plaza- my Sex and the City moment

Every day after work now (if weather permits), instead of going to the gym, I have been walking up to Central Park and spending an hour wandering around the park. It's soooo relaxing and is the perfect way to regroup after a long stressful day at the office. When I am on the treadmill at the gym, I am usually looking at my Apple Watch every 3 minutes wondering how many steps I have left before I have to get off the terrible machine. When I walk around Central Park though, I don't look at my watch once! I usually end up walking more steps than I ever week at the gym. On the way to the Park, I am walking up 5th Ave and looking at all of beautiful store window displays. The tourists just fill up the city and you see their faces filled with awe. It's wonderful to see. After living in this city for seven years, sometimes you forget how wonderful it is.

Central Park is my favorite place in the world because it reminds me of my childhood. When I was a little girl, my Dad would always bring me to Central Park and we would spend the day there. We would go to The Met in the morning and spend the rest of the afternoon doing fun things Central Park has to offer. Whether it was visiting the Central Park Zoo or riding bikes or going for a boat ride, it was all so fun and a great experience. If you've been following my blog for a while, you'll hear many mentions of my Mom and I visiting The Met and grabbing lattes before we enter the Park. After all these years, Central Park still brings me a sense of peace.

For all of you visitors thinking about coming to NYC, you have to visit Central Park. I promise, you'll love it!!

Weight Watchers

9:41:00 AM

Weight Watchers Wine glasses

Happy Wednesday darlings!! The week is just flying by as per usual! So I am super excited to write this post because it's something that I've wanted to do for a very long time and honestly I just wasn't ready to commitment myself to making changes. I'll go back to the beginning….

When I was a kid, my Dad was a marathon runner and NYC was his fave. So from a pretty young age, I was aware of health, fitness, and the importance of taking care of your body. I used to "run" with my Dad sometimes. As I entered into high school, my love of health and fitness continued and I had a part-time job at our local gym. I was surrounded by people who were obsessed with living a healthy lifestyle. I used to eat all organic foods and work out 6 days per week. Yes, I admit that my body was pretty amazing. As I entered into college, I think I was the only college kid drinking protein shakes in class. I was still eating all organic and working out after class. Then something changed….I was accepted into law school and would be moving to NYC. No more home cooked meals and driving straight to the gym after work and having my gym clothes in the trunk. Now it was public transportation and long city hours.

Most people think that since you have to walk everywhere in NYC that you'll be in the best shape of your life…WRONG. Well myself that's the case for some but it certainly wasn't for me. My healthy living lifestyle started to decline in school and it went all the way down once I got my first "corporate" job. I was working extremely long hours and at the end of the day, I absolutely had no energy to work out or make my own meals. I would just pick up whatever was in the neighborhood and en route to my apartment. My staples were: pizza, Cuban food, Chinese food, sushi, and the diner. At the diner, I was eating a veggie burger with cheese, french fries, and a side of honey mustard sauce (to dip my fries). I get so excited still just by thinking about it! Hahaha. Also, something else happened…I was no longer in my 20's and even though I gained some confidence and wisdom in my 30's…my body wasn't acting the way it used to. After all my junk food and late night eating, my body slowly gaining 10 to 15 pounds. It didn't happen over night and it wasn't 100% noticeable from the start. Then I was 20 pounds heavier than I was and then you get the picture!! I have been saying for about two years now that I want to get back into the lifestyle I used to have. I do work out but my 1x to 2x per week wasn't doing it. If I want my body to look a certain way, then I have to make changes in my life to make it happen.

After many failed attempts, I decided to join Weight Watchers with my Mom. She's a lifetime member and is a huge advocate of the program. She has been wanting to lose 40 pounds for about 5 years now but she hasn't had the motivation or a partner to hold her accountable and push her. When a mother/daughter team decide to lose weight together, there's no competition. We both just want the best for one another and we want the other person to be healthy and live the longest life possible. I love my Mom and she's my best friend. I don't want her taking pills for the rest of her life. She already has a heart condition, high blood pressure, and borderline diabetic. We are doing this together for encouragement, support, and making a lifelong change as a family.

As I weighted in last week and it was a shocker. Also, truly examining what I eat on a daily basis was mind-blowing to say the least. I was consuming 47 points in just my lunch!! (FYI…Weight Watchers works on a points system. I am allowed 30 points per day and I have 35 weekly points to use just in case I go over my allotted daily points) The Weight Watchers app is also a lifesaver. I can scan all of my foods at the supermarket and it tells me how many points the product is. Let's just say I put a lot of things back on the shelf. The WW app also have a social aspect to it so you can post status updates and other members write back with messages of support. It's truly amazing.

Weight Watchers Wine glasses

Here are my key issues: I don't work out enough, I love my wine, and I just sugary sweets. Now I am eating more fruits and veggies and lowering my wine intake. The program is about creating a more healthy eating lifestyle so you can eat whatever you want it's just how many points are you willing to give up for that food or drink! Since wine is my downfall, I bought the WW wine glasses that have lines etched in the glass to tell you have many points you are consuming. lol. It's amazing!! There are 3 lines and you are realizing, do I really want to drink 6 points?

So for the rest of the year, I'll be sharing more of my weight loss journey with you all. I may even post some pics of before and after but right now I don't have the confidence for that. If you would love to know more about Weight Watchers, please let me know. Just as an FYI…I am only a member and I totally do not represent or work with Weight Watchers. I am also not a health or fitness professional. Just sharing thoughts and details about my own journey.

As always, thank you for reading!!

No Spend Challenge!!

11:56:00 PM

No Spend Challenge!!

Hello darlings!!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend and hope all the Dads out their had a wonderful Father's Day! I know I keep saying this and I know I keep hearing it for others but super crazy that we are almost seven months into this year!! Nuts! Pretty soon it's going to be Christmas!!

Soooooo this is going to be incredibly difficult for me and maybe even downright impossible...but I'm doing a no spend challenge! I totally want to commit to doing an entire month but I know that's just setting myself up for failure and I really can't not spend any month for an entire month. I want to be 100% realistic. Sooo I'm going to do the best that I can and commit to not spending money for an entire week. Yes, 7 whole days! Eeekkk!

Wanna know why? Well let's go back to the start. I think since the beginning of this blog, I have been very vocal about wanting to become debt free. I love loads of student loan debt and it's not fun seeing half my paycheck go toward my young drinking days! I know I am not the only person going through this and most of my friends tell me to forget about this bill but I simply can't. I mean...I can own a home for the amount of money I spend!

Admittedly, I am extremely wasteful and I am being honest here. I love buying makeup, clothes, shoes, and every accessory under the sun. I also never cook and eat out for every single meal. Lastly, there's nothing that I love more than a good happy hour. I spend on average about $400 per week on takeout and happy hour. I swear....no lie. It's super sad because I could probably be half way debt free by now if I spent that money towards my loans! So in the interest of both losing weight (you'll read more about this soon) and saving money...I am challenging myself to not spend any money for an entire week. I went grocery shopping today and did all of my meal planning. The only money I'll be spending will be normal expenses....like car payment and law school loan but besides this, nada!

I have never done a no spend challenge and I am sooo scared. It's only 7 days though. How hard can this be, right?? (Hahahaha. Super hard!)

Have you ever done a no spend challenge?

PS- I am tracking all of the money I am saving and I'll putting it into my savings account. At the end of the week, I am making a payment towards my lowest outstanding bill. Also, since I am cooking for myself, everything will be healthier. Let's see how much weight I use. I think the key to success is being clear about my goals, be realistic, set a time, planning, and organization! I always feel if I set my sights on something and I'm organized, I can probably take over the World. Please pray for me.

bareMinerals BARESKIN Complete Coverage Serum Concealer

Bare Minerals Bareskin Concealer

Hiiii darlings!! Hope you're all having a fabulous week! The weather here in NYC has been amazing so hopefully it continues!! Today after I left the office, I walked up to Central Park and just spent an hour wandering around. It was the perfect way for me to end my night. I was so relaxed on the subway that I missed my stop! It's amazing what a little outdoors can do for one's soul!

bareMinerals BARESKIN Complete Coverage Serum Concealer

I am sharing my thoughts on Bare Minerals Bareskin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer. Wow, what a long name! hahaha. Try saying that after a long day! I have always been a Bare Minerals fan so I am always happy to use their products. Bare Minerals is awesome because not only are they concerned about makeup, but there's also the skincare side to things. They really go the extra mile and put great ingredients in their products that won't harm or damage your skin. Even though I am a fan of the brand, some of their products work better for me than others. I like the whole Bare Skin concept but even with my dry to combo skin, the serums in the foundation or concealer can leave me looking oily. I ordered a 5 piece set on QVC and this concealer was part of the set. I wasn't sure what to expect but here we go!

bareMinerals BARESKIN Complete Coverage Serum Concealer

I absolutely love the easy application of the concealer. With the wand applicator, it makes applying it to your face super easy! I personally don't use a separate brush when applying to my face. I use the wand to create an upside down triangle under each eye and then I blend it out with a Beauty Blender or sponge. I then set the concealer with my Estee Lauder Double Wear powder and it doesn't crease or smudge for the entire day! You're good to go! The concealer is hydrating, creamy, and easily blendable.

bareMinerals BARESKIN Complete Coverage Serum Concealer

This product is both a concealer and serum in one so it does create a smooth and light finish. On their website, they claim the concealer "It instantly reduces the appearance of dark circles, discoloration, and other imperfections for a beautifully even-toned complexion. Formulated with antioxidant Lilac Plant Stem Cells, this multitasking concealer features high-definition mineral optics to counteract shadows and give skin a brightened, lustrous finish. Hydrating humectants help nourish the undereye area, while the silky smooth texture glides effortlessly over fine lines, leaving skin looking fresh and flawless all day."

bareMinerals BARESKIN Complete Coverage Serum Concealer swatch

Since I tend to be a little more heavy-handed and like very full coverage makeup, I did think this formula is light and may not completely cover extremely dark circles. I am fortunate enough not to have dark circles under my eyes and I'm just look for a little brightening but if I did, I would probably try a different concealer (like Estee Lauder's Double Wear). If this concealer came in another package with other products, I wouldn't mind using it again but I probably wouldn't go out and spend the $20 on it. It's a good concealer but you can get the same results with Maybelline's Age Rewind Concealer

Have you tried bareMinerals Bareskin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer? What's your favorite concealer?

Getting Back on Track

11:38:00 PM

Getting Back on Track

Hello darlings. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. After yesterday's tragedy, I reached out to my friends and family just to say I love you. It teaches us to love harder and love more freely. Hold your love ones tight. Life is too short.

So I am now focusing on getting back on track. My goals can seem stupid to some but to each's own. I am super blessed and happy with my life but there are certain things I would love to work on. Here are just a few ways I want to do to get back on track...

1. Get healthy: I was been soooo bad this past winter and I haven't done anything to change my ways. I have been eating way too many sweets, eating late at night, and eating takeout about 3x per day and 6 days per week. Here's what I am doing to change this: I am joining Weight Watchers with my Mom next weekend. I am terrible at be strict when it comes to eating and exercise. Lately due to work commitments, I have only been working out one day per week. I need someone to hold me accountable and I am hoping Weight Watchers does that! I am hitting the gym every morning before work so I have no excuses of saying I am too tired and I am packing my breakfast and lunch everyday. I am measuring out all quantities the day before so I can't overeat plus I know what ingredients I am consuming. I can't lose weight and become more fit by just exercising or just eating right. Diet and exercise are a partnership and they go hand in hand. You can't succeed with one without the other! Wish me luck! Have any of you joined Weight Watchers?

2. Saving money: Did I mention that I have been eating out 3x per day for about 6 days per week? Ummm yea that's kinda pricey. I want to say at least $1k per month and I know I can do this is I control my eating out habits! I am also not buying anymore beauty products for the next months. This is going to be almost impossible for me so wish me luck! I have to blog about products I currently already own! One of my 2016 goals was to become debt free. What happened to that?

3. Volunteering: When I was in college, I was so active with volunteering and doing charity work. I think I have been using the excuse of a busy work life and therefore, I don't have time to help my community. Nope. I can't use work as an excuse for anything anymore. I have to simply make time. I have time to watch Shahs of Sunset, right? We have to lift up one another. It's the American way.

4. Reading: I want to read a book a week! I love reading and it's the perfect way for me to relax. I can't remember the last time I read a book. Again... I love making excuse for not accomplishing things.

5. Blogging: I have been a little lazy when it comes to blogging. Why? I love blogging but again...I lack time. Nope! I need to focus on blogging 3x per week no matter what! I am so lucky to have amazing readers and I want to continue to build this little baby of mine.

6. Personal Relationships: I need to focus more on my personal relationships and this applies to romance as well. I want to get married and have kids at some point. Do I think I have forever? I'm not 21 anymore. I need to start taking more time to build great relationships with some awesome people. PS- I am planning a girls' trip to Cabo this Summer. Nothing beats an amazing support system.

Do you need to get back on track? What do you want to change about your life?

Beauty Goodies Used Up In May!

Beauty Goodies Used Up In May!

I may be a little late with this post but it's better late than never, right? I am really trying super hard to finish all of my beauty products unless I really hate it or I'm getting a bad reaction. Since I am obsessed with everything beauty related...it's hard for me to finish a product. I am getting better though and have actually find a few products that I just keep buying over and over again. Here are some beauty goodies that I've used up in May!

1. Hair Bar NYC Marula Oil Luxury Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner: So I did a keratin treatment about 3 months ago and I am obsessed with it. I have extremely curly and thick hair and it usually takes me over an hour of straighten. It also gets super frizzy and all around difficult to manage. The keratin treatment has changed my hair routine from 1 hour to 10 minutes. I swear! And even better...no more frizz. I am going to write a post soon about the pros and cons of keratin. Anyway, when I was at the salon getting my treatment, my hairstylist recommended I buy their own shampoo and conditioner. I honestly thought it was bullshit and the salon just wanted my money. Boy was I wrong!! This is the best shampoo and conditioner I have every used. I have already repurchased. I even tried using something different and my hair protested by frizzing! This stuff is a miracle worker and my keratin treatment has just been such a success. I can't recommend this shampoo and conditioner enough.

2. Avon Makeup Setting Spray: I have been using this gem for a few months now and I am pretty pleased with it. I switch between this and my MAC Prep + Prime Fix + Spray but this Avon spray is half the price. It's great and works well but I am just going to stick to my MAC spray. Please read my review here.

3. Avon Eyeshadow Primer: I LOVE this primer. I have seriously used using my MAC paintpot for this!! My eyeshadow doesn't crease and don't move an inch for over 12 hours. It's honestly the best Avon purchase I've made and it less than $5! Last time I purchased for $1.99. I am so willing to pay a lot more for this. Here's my full review here.

4. Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base: I got 6 of these samples at Sephora and I am a fan but I am not 100% convinced. I traded in 100 VIB points for each deluxe sample of this product and I use it as my facial primer. I am a fan of it and it leaves my skin feeling moisturized, enriched, and my makeup doesn't budge. The only problem is the price at $58.00. I am not super convinced it's worth the money compared to some of my cheaper primers. I think some of my other products create the same results. I think I'll be skipping the full sized version of this.

5. Bobbi Brown's Instant Long-Wear Makeup Remover: I love this makeup remover!! I already purchased a second one! It's worth every penny. Check out a full review here.

6. Avon Makeup Remover Wipes: Another Avon product I am absolutely obsessed with. I swear, never in my life have I ever used a makeup removing wipe that is as nourishing, good for your skin, and effective. These wipes are everything. I have over 8 packages in storage because I never ever wanna run out of these. Here's my review.

7. IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Powder: Again, I absolutely love this product and I repurchased twice. I only have one issue...the compact container doesn't hold that much product and I go through a compact ever month. This powder is amazing because it helps set my makeup and keep the greasy "melting" look away but I just go through this product like water. I am going to try the loose powder version and see if it lasts longer for me. Please read my full review here.

What products have you used up recently? What are you using?

My Estee Lauder Wish List!!

My Estee Lauder Wish List!!

Hello darlings!! Hope everyone's having a great start to the week! It was a busy one for me! My weekend was absolutely amazing though and I am so disappointed to see it go! (Boo!) Anyway, if you follow me on Instagram, I'm sure you've noticed that I've developed a full Estee Lauder addiction. Like it's bad. I am at the counter every other day if seems! Lol. I truly can't get enough. Their makeup and skincare is amazing and it's really worth every penny. They are also really good about gifts and giving free samples which really helps because I try a sample of a product and then I turn around a few days later and purchase it. (The brand knows how to wheel people in!!)  So despite all of the beauty products I currently own, below are some items on my wish list!

1. 'Bronze Goddess - Summer Glow' Multi-Palette: I tried this palette when I purchased my Double Wear Foundation and Powder. Natalie demonstrated everything before I made any decisions and it was great to see how this looked with the foundation. I absolutely loved it. I love when brands make things easy for us busy bees on the go! This trio palette includes blush, bronzer and highlighter so it's super easy to apply or touch up your contour when you are on the go, at the gym, or at the office. I am a fan of anything I can throw into my bag without things getting messy or me having to carry three separate products.

2. 'Revitalizing Supreme' Global Anti-Aging Creme: I received a deluxe sample of this as part of one of my gifts. It's the perfect night cream and super moisturizing. I am pushing 32 now so I want to really make sure I take care of my skin and keep the wrinkles away.

3. 'Advanced Night Repair Eye' Synchronized Recovery Complex II: Again, I received a deluxe sample as part of my gift. You are supposed to use this for 4 weeks in order to see amazing results. It has received so many awesome reviews so I am a believer. Something that can help keep those fine lines and wrinkles away? Please send it my way. The eye area always seems like the first to go but I want to preserve preserve preserve!

4. 'Double Wear All Day Glow' BB Moisture Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 30: I am now currently wearing the regular and wildly popular Double Wear Foundation and Powder and I am a huge fan. It's full coverage but allows your skin to shine through. (Full reviews coming up soon) but I wanted something for the weekends. BB creams are amazing when you still want coverage but you don't want the full makeup look. Also, since the warmer weather is quickly approaching, I want to try something a little lighter on my skin. This will just be for my days off.

5. Makeup Brush Cleanser: I clean my makeup brushes every Sunday. It's part of my beauty routine and it's very important to me because it has really helped control my acne breakouts. I read somewhere that 44% of people don't clean their makeup brushes. That's crazy to me! Brushes carry bacteria and germs! You have to clean those babies off so you can get better applications with your makeup and keep your skin cleaner and decrease the chances of breakouts.

6. 'Advanced Night Repair' Synchronized Recovery Complex II: Again, I got a deluxe sample of this gem and WOW. It's a night serum and it reduces all the signs of aging. There have been so many studies on this product and so many people rave about the benefits. I am willing to give the full size bottle a try.

7. Double Wear Zero-Smudge Liquid Eyeliner: I am an eyeliner fanatic!! I have them everywhere...in my gym bag, makeup bag, office desk, at home, in my car...I think you get the picture. lol. I am obsessed with a good liner and I want anything that says zero-smudge. A runny liner is not a cute look.

8. 'Double Wear' Infinite Waterproof Eyeliner: My eyeliner obsession is strong and true. I want to use this in my waterline and it's always so hard to find a good one! Let's see if  this Double Wear really holds up to the name.

9. 'DayWear' Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme Broad Spectrum SPF 15: I received a few deluxe samples of this moisturizer and I 100% want the full size version. I love it!! It's super moisturizing to the point that I have stopped using primer and I have been using this alone under my makeup. It has a light cucumber scent which always makes me feel like I am at the spa. I highly recommend it.

10. Pure Color Instant Intense EyeShadow Trio: The Metallics: I love my eyeshadows and I started doing a simpler look for everyday. I used to go all out with the smokey eye and all this craziness but I realized that I looked the same whether I was going to the office or going to the club...yea it's great to practice technique but you have to hold back sometimes. This trio palette looks great for everyday wear. Estee Lauder also made it super easy by packaging these three together. The combo is perfection.

Have you tried Estee Lauder? What products are you wishing for?
